Coaching skills for managers
One day course
To provide the participants with a practical framework for understanding their role as a coach and develop the skills necessary to be flexible and effective.
The managers will explore their own personal style using various tools and self assessment questionnaires. As a result they will realise the impacts of their preferences, exploring their behaviours and development areas will help them to develop effective coaching skills. Through practical and fun exercises the group will be given the opportunity to practice some of the styles and approaches, some of which may not be their immediate preferences.
Participants will learn how to monitor performance, evaluate, give feedback and ask meaningful questions that drive outstanding performance. Additionally, the group will be introduced to the G.R.O.W coaching model, a framework which will allow them to ask the right questions at the right times.
